Warung Indonesia (translated as Indonesian stall) offers a selection of the best of Indonesian cuisine, prepared according to original recipes from all corners of the vast country of Indonesia. We take our stall to festivals in the country to showcase the uniqueness of Indonesian cuisine among the generally perceived Asian cuisine. Our cuisine is a blend of coconut milk, rice flour and Asian spices. Beef lovers will love the flavour (Beef Rendang - the best food in the world in 2017 according to CNN), but also vegans or those who like something sweet. Most of the dishes are gluten-free. Diners need not worry about the food being spicy, but those who like spicy can add our homemade chilli (sambal) to their food to taste.
The cuisine is based on spices and traditional ingredients that give the dishes an unmistakable Asian flavour. All prepared fresh, according to the home recipes of Indonesian chefs.
We serve food the way you might experience it in Asia - classic street vending. And for those who are not familiar with Indonesian food, we have a detailed description of everything we offer and what the food contains.

Sambal is a traditional spicy sauce or paste that is popular in many Southeast Asian countries. It is made mainly from chili peppers and other ingredients such as garlic, ginger, lime juice and others. Sambal is used as a side dish or flavouring for various dishes such as rice dishes, noodles, meat, seafood and vegetables. It is popular for its ability to add a savory and complex flavor to food.
Pandan leaf is a tropical herb that grows abundantly in Southeast Asia. The leaves are used for their aroma in many Thai and Southeast Asian dishes and to flavour desserts. The taste is described as grassy with hints of rose, almond and vanilla, bordering on coconut. Paste and pandan extract are added to recipes as a flavouring agent and add a green colour to dishes.
